Qualification Overview
The KS1 Preparation Programme is designed for learners in Years 1–2 to develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and reasoning. This programme supports pupils in building confidence, independent learning skills, and a positive attitude towards school assessments.
Who This Programme Is For
This programme is suitable for learners who:
- Are in Years 1–2 and wish to strengthen literacy and numeracy skills
- Benefit from interactive and structured learning in English and Mathematics
- Enjoy engaging activities that develop logical thinking and problem-solving
- Are preparing to transition confidently into Key Stage 2
Fees and Class Times
Fees: £8.00 per hour
Classes:
- Thursday & Friday: 16:30 – 19:30
- Saturday & Sunday: 10:30 – 16:00

English
- Early reading comprehension and phonics

Mathematics
- Number recognition, place value, and counting skills
