Qualification Overview
The KS2 Preparation Programme is designed for learners in Years 3–6, building on KS1 foundations to develop advanced literacy, numeracy, and reasoning skills. The programme prepares students for KS2 SATs assessments and secondary school learning, emphasizing practical application, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
Who This Programme Is For
This programme is suitable for learners who:
- Are in Years 3–6 and want to strengthen English and Mathematics
- Wish to improve reading comprehension, writing, and numerical problem-solving
- Need structured practice and feedback to prepare for KS2 assessments
- Aim to develop confidence, independent learning, and study skills
Fees and Class Times
Fees: £8.00 per hour
Classes:
- Thursday & Friday: 16:30 – 19:30
- Saturday & Sunday: 10:30 – 16:00

- Reading comprehension, inference, and analysis
- Grammar, punctuation, and spelling (SPaG)
- Vocabulary development and word meaning
- Creative, descriptive, and non-fiction writing
Mathematics
- Number operations, fractions, decimals, and percentages

Reasoning Skills

- Timed SATs-style practice papers
- 11+ preparation (for selected/interested students)
